“ It's rare for us to find a BBQ restaurant where we love the pulled pork plus ALL the side fixins too! The pork is amazing...moist and nicely pulled with zero fat or grizzle. The baked beans, coleslaw and Brunswick stew can't be beat. Everything is 100% fresh and delicious. We eat here nearly every weekend. Owners are friendly and accommodating. If you are a brisket lover don't miss it here either! ”
“ We were so fortunate to be driving thru the area and saw Dam! Good BBQ! We were hungry and the smell was so inviting. We ordered the Sampler and received pulled pork, ribs, chicken, and brisket. The awesome lady even thru in a smoked hotdog! OMG! The food was terrific. We live in Murphy, but will be making excuses to be back in their area! Plus, we are new to the Carnivore Diet and this was perfect! ”
“ We're from Scotland and are doing a 2 week roadtrip around FL, GA, SC, NC and TN. Stumbled upon this place as we drove passed and I was hungry so stopped in. AMAZING! I had the 1/2 rack ribs, mac n cheese and potato salad. The ribs were fall off the bone, just the way I like them. Mac n cheese was delicious but the potato salad was the best! Very fresh and flavoursome. We were gonna get a pudding but we're kinda in a time restraint as I had to get to my next destination! As we were leaving, the owner came out to ask if everything was okay, and we stood chatting about BBQ, and he brought me out a sample of his delicious brisket. Lovely piece of brisket with nice marbling and lovely smokey taste. B. E. A. Utiful! They smoke the brisket for 28 hours and it was voted best brisket last year. Might I add in very good value too. Highly recommended. Very popular with locals but you tourists should definately stop by too. ”
“ Best BBQ place in the region. Collard greens to die for. Forget Rib Country and Big Nick's in Murphy. We camped in RV for a month in Murphy and once we tried this place, we never went back to the other two BBQ places even though we went there few times first. You get soo much more pulled pork on the sandwich at DAM with 3" tall stack and the pork is perfect. It's juicy, melts in your mouth but not oily or greasy. PERFECT. Clean meat without any grizzle. Big Nick's soaks their pork in oil and Rib Country is hit or miss with dry meat. ”

“ It’s a Dam! Good place to eat. Amazing interaction with the lady up front. She was very warm and welcoming. We had two personal deep dish pizzas and it’s a cute little pie that has a nice savoury tomato sauce. The mac and cheese was nice, but the highlight was the hospitality and the fact that she (the lady) offered us a beer from her own six pack as they didn’t have beers for sale. The wings were also pretty good. Overall great experience, would 10/10 go back again. ”

This is more of a take out place and not a sit down restaurant but they do have outdoor tables if you want to casually eat there. I can’t say enough about the food - it’s all excellent and you won’t be disappointed. ”
